about the issues is the first step. Action is the next. But where
do you start? How do you decide where to get involved, what to do,
or who to talk to?
Selecting
an Action Plan Issue
- Does
this situation touch on things or people you value? Which of your
values are affected? How will acting on it reflect your values
and priorities in life? (what are you FOR, not against?)

A decision NOT to act is a sort of action!
Think about what will happen if this situation is not addressed.
Will the situation solve itself? Get worse? Is someone else likely
to act on it?
- How
will your life be affected if you decide to dedicate time &
energy to this situation? Will you have to give something else
up? Are you prepared to do this?
- What
do you expect to get in return for working on this situation?
(recognition, $$, personal satisfaction) Is it worth your time
and energy investment?

How will you know if you are successful in making a difference
to this situation? (will you know? In the short-/long-term? In/tangible?)
How will this make you feel?
