Apply to Attend PSYL as a Participant
PSYL 2013 will run from July 22nd to August 11th.
Applications are now being accepted for PSYL 2013. Apply through our Online Registration System. We will accept applications on a rolling basis. There is no deadline for applications, however the program does tend to get full by mid-Spring.
What
are we looking for...?
We
are often asked what qualities we look for in participants.
Although there is no specific person who is admitted to the
program, qualities that help in the application process include:
- demonstrated
interest and involvement in social and ecological justice
- involvement
in school or community service
- interest
in world or community events
- demonstrated
leadership skills - or an interest to develop leadership
skills
- interest
in applying knowledge to future career or educational aspirations
- interest
in new people and cultures - and living in different places
- academic
achievement is considered, but it is not required that students
excel at school
